Convention :
Each year the Annual General Meeting of the North West Model Railway Clubs' Association is hosted by an affiliated member club.  Hosts for 2008 is Hazel Grove & District Model Railway Society and the venue is at their Club Rooms.

The reports are followed by the election of officers.

Awards :
Each year a trophy is awarded and the winner of the competition is decided by votes from the delegates to that meeting.
Leigh Trophy :
Awarded to the best exhibition poster displayed at the AGM.
